Team Oliver Racing enjoyed an exceptional and highly competitive weekend at Snetterton on 11th–12th July, in the latest round of the British Truck Racing Championship. Across five races, the team showed pace, consistency, and race-winning form, and as proud partners of Team Oliver Racing, we couldn’t be more pleased with how the weekend played out.

Qualifying: A Front-Row Lockout

The weekend began in perfect fashion. Michael Oliver secured pole position, with Stuart Oliver completing a superb front-row lockout in second place. It was the ideal way to set the tone for what would become a hugely successful event.

Race One: Lights to Flag for Stuart

Starting from the front row, Stuart Oliver seized the initiative immediately, taking the lead off the line and controlling the race from start to finish. It was a flawless drive, capped off with the fastest lap of the race.

Michael Oliver had a tougher task, starting further back after carrying a five-place grid penalty from a previous round. Showing excellent racecraft, he fought his way through the field to secure a strong fourth-place finish.

Race Two: A Dominant One-Two

Momentum carried straight into Race Two, where the team delivered a dominant 1–2 result. Stuart once again made a perfect start from pole position, building a commanding lead and taking victory by over four seconds, with the fastest lap to match.

Michael delivered an equally impressive drive under pressure, defending expertly throughout to secure second place and complete a memorable result for the team.

Race Three: Michael’s First Win of the Weekend

Sunday’s action brought the first of two reverse grid challenges, forcing both drivers to fight through the pack from tougher starting positions. Michael Oliver produced a standout drive to initially finish third on the road. Following a post-race exclusion for a competitor due to a technical infringement, Michael was promoted to race winner, securing his first victory of the weekend.

Stuart Oliver drove a determined race in difficult conditions to bring the truck home in fourth place.

Race Four: Points in a Tightly Contested Battle

Race Four presented another reverse grid battle, with both drivers starting mid-pack. In a tightly contested race, Stuart finished fifth with Michael close behind in sixth, adding valuable championship points to the weekend’s haul.

Race Five: Another Podium to Close the Weekend

The weekend concluded with Race Five, where Stuart Oliver delivered another strong performance. Charging through the field, he moved into podium contention early and maintained relentless pressure to secure second place at the flag.

Michael Oliver was involved in a competitive midfield battle throughout and ultimately finished seventh after a hard-fought race.

A Weekend to Remember

Across the weekend, Team Oliver Racing secured three race victories, multiple podium finishes, and a significant haul of championship points. A result that reflects the pace and consistency the team has shown all season.
