Emerging from changeable weather, fierce battles, and high-stakes racing, the team secured multiple Independent victories, reclaimed crucial championship leads, and celebrated a powerful symbol of resilience exactly one year after disaster struck.

From outstanding drives up the field to historic grid milestones, here is how the action unfolded north of the border.

A Weekend of Triumph on Track

Power Maxed Racing showed immense pace right out of the gate during Saturday’s opening sessions, with Aiden Moffat topping Free Practice, followed closely by Dexter Patterson in second and Mikey Doble in fourth.

When race day arrived, changeable Scottish weather tested the entire grid, but the PMR squad rose to the challenge:

Race One: Run in heavy rain, the team brilliantly locked three cars inside the top ten. Patterson claimed seventh, Doble eighth, and Moffat delivered a phenomenal recovery drive, gaining 13 positions from a tough starting spot to finish ninth.
Race Two: As the track dried, Mikey Doble put on a masterclass, charging to fourth overall to secure an exceptional Independent victory and crucial championship points. Patterson followed closely in eighth.
Race Three: Local hero Dexter Patterson brought the Scottish crowd to their feet. He powered his Audi S3 to fourth overall, claiming his first Independent victory of the season and completing a dominant clean sweep of the Jack Sears Trophy for Sunday.

Mikey Doble (LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing): Climbed from seventh to sixth in the overall Drivers’ Championship, now sitting just two points shy of fifth place, while comfortably extending his lead in the Independents Trophy to 36 points.
Dexter Patterson (Steel Seal with Power Maxed Racing): Enjoyed a dream home round, reclaiming the Jack Sears Trophy lead by 17 points and holding fifth in the Independents standings.
Aiden Moffat & Nick Halstead: Moffat sits 16th overall and ninth in the Independents, while Halstead put in solid shifts to round out the team’s entries.

Sunday’s race day marked exactly one year to the day since the devastating fire that destroyed the team’s workshop and threatened its very future. Twelve months later, PMR returned to the grid with a piece of history: fielding four Audi S3s for the first time ever.

Nick Halstead’s return to the line-up added even deeper significance, as he stepped back behind the wheel a year after standing alongside the team through last year’s tragedy. To return with four competitive cars, two Scottish drivers racing in front of their home fans, and championship trophies heading back to base is a testament to the relentless hard work, resilience, and unity of the entire squad.
