Power Maxed, vehicle care product brand, is Carlin’s new vehicle care partner for the 2018 race season.
Carlin, one of the largest single-seater race teams outside of Formula 1, have acquired Power Maxed as a vehicle care partner. Carlin are well known for bringing huge talent to single-seater motorsport, many of whom have made impressive careers for themselves inside and outside of F1, including Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo. They continue to bring aspiring talent through the ranks in F3, F4, Porsche Supercup, GP3, GP2 and more series, such as rising stars Billy Monger, Lando Norris and George Russell.
Power Maxed, title sponsor of team Power Maxed TAG Racing in the British Touring Car Championships, have crossed paths with Billy Monger before, having held multiple money-raising events in aid of the hero amputee, the most recent of which being the track walk at Brands Hatch on 1st October 2017 when Billy used his prosthetic legs for the first time surrounded by fans and race teams alike, raising over £10,000 collectively.
“Billy’s story is an amazing one, as are the stories of all young, aspiring racing drivers. The partnership with Carlin offers great marketing reach for us and means the vehicles can all benefit from the level of maintenance our products offer, giving every one of the Carlin drivers the chance to achieve their goals.” – Adam Weaver, Managing Director of Power Maxed
Power Maxed TAG Racing achieved their first ever first-place finish this year at the opening of the 60th Anniversary series of the BTCC at Brands Hatch, proving that the level of maintenance and vehicle care, plus the bigger things such as track time, research and setup changes, plus of course, good drivers, can all combine to achieve the perfect finish.
Carlin will be using the full range of Power Maxed aerosols, lubricants, adhesives, additives, valeting and detailing products to keep their fleet of 17 race vehicles and even the drivers’ racewear in the best condition possible.
“We know Power Maxed products are of a true quality; we’ve seen it first-hand. We are very excited to use their products on the vehicles in full confidence that they can deliver results under the harsh environments of each race, and we’re particularly excited to see the difference Rain Off makes to the wet weather visibility.” – Trevor Carlin, Team Principal of Carlin Racing.
Power Maxed branding will be visible on all 17 race vehicles run by Carlin for the 2018 season.
