Tar Spots – How To Remove Them Safely

Tar spots are small black dots on the paint caused by hot asphalt and road tar. They cling strongly to the surface and usually cannot be removed by normal washing alone.

How To Remove Tar Spots

1. Wash the car to remove loose dirt.
2. Spray a tar remover directly onto the affected areas.
3. Allow the product to soften the tar for the recommended time.
4. Wipe gently with a clean microfibre cloth.
5. Rinse the area and rewash if needed.
