Power Maxed Sponsors Logan Howes

Power Maxed, vehicle care brand, has sponsored a young racer in the form of Logan Howes, a kart racer from Norfolk.

Howes, just 6 years old, tried most sports as a (younger) child, but karting quickly became his passion. With 18 months of practice and training behind him, in 2018 he will be participating in the biggest Bambino Championship in Europe; BKC Bambinos. He aims to win, and wants to race his way through to eventually compete in the British Touring Car Championships (BTCC).

Power Maxed saw his talent and drive for what he does and, as exemplified by their continuing relationship with rookies-turn-Jack-Sears-Trophy-winners such as 2017 driver Senna Proctor and 2015 driver Josh Cook in the BTCC, couldn’t help themselves – they chose to assist the young racer in his goal.

Power Maxed subsequently arranged for the creation of Logan’s branded suit, and for the kart wrap. The kart has been wrapped in a style which accurately mimics the livery of the Power Maxed Racing Vauxhall Astras, and Logan’s suit bears the Power Maxed brand as a visual symbol of the support Power Maxed are offering to the young racer, not to mention gaining further coverage for the brand to a new audience during the BKC championship itself.

The kart is a Bambino Wright Kart chassis powered by an IAME M1 engine, which has about 3 ½ brake horse power. Howes will be using as much of this power as possible teamed with intelligent driving to compete and aim to beat the 40-strong field of competitors in the coming championship.

Logan is also sponsored by his school, Carleton Rode Primary, and will be competing in the first race of the 2018 championship in February. His progress can be followed via Power Maxed or his Facebook page; @LoganHowesKarting05. He will be attending the delayed Bambino Festival 2017 this weekend at Rye House Kart Raceway in Hertfordshire.
